About

I am a Multidisciplinary Designer, Maker & Artist. My work is rooted in heritage and craft. I began my creative journey in my family's Furniture business in Mombasa, Kenya. I developed my skills through a variety of furniture projects ranging from bespoke to mass production and residential to commercial.

Having a holistic understanding of wood manufacture & operations management, I went on to develop my practice in the UK. I took on a Furniture & Product Design degree at Nottingham Trent University. Upon graduating in 2019 I was awarded ‘Product of the year at London Design Festival - 100% Design’ for my Weave Chair. My journey ever since has led me to take on the Victoria & Albert Emerging Designer Commission 2025 for for ‘Sitting with your Virtues and Vices’. I currently run my creative practice in London.

I am open to taking on bespoke furniture & art commissions, managing short term production projects and offering design consultation on creative projects.
